About the role
The Reservations Supervisor ensures accurate management of room blocks, reservations and group market codes for a luxury hotel. The role combines guest service, revenue optimisation and team leadership to uphold the brand’s standards.
Key responsibilities
- Process reservation requests, changes and cancellations received via phone, fax or mail, verifying availability, rates and guarantee policies.
- Identify guest needs, accommodate special requests and document them in the reservation system.
- Apply sales techniques to maximise revenue while adhering to company policies and billing procedures.
- Train, schedule, coach and motivate reservation staff, acting as the first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
- Troubleshoot guest issues, resolve concerns or escalate to appropriate departments, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related reservation or hospitality experience.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a hotel or similar environment.
