Retail Merchandiser Senior Specialist Trading and Allocation

About the role

The Retail Merchandiser Senior Specialist will drive profitability for EMC DTC Morocco by managing allocation, in‑season trading and inventory across retail stores and the e‑commerce platform. The role combines data‑driven decision‑making with cross‑functional collaboration to optimise margin and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Translate seasonal brand strategy into channel‑level range and allocation plans, partnering with Planning and Buying.
• Monitor daily and weekly sales to identify fast‑selling opportunities and mitigate slow‑moving inventory.
• Develop and execute in‑season trading strategies, including markdowns, promotions and replenishment decisions.
• Drive inventory clearance and maintain healthy stock levels across retail and e‑commerce channels.
• Collaborate with Planning, Buying, Finance, Demand Planning, SCM and Operations to align trading actions with broader business goals.

Required profile

• University degree in Business, Finance or Merchandising.
• Minimum 3 years of merchandising experience, preferably in a retail or e‑commerce environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Strong knowledge of Retail Management Systems.
