Sales Administration Officer

About the role

The Sales Administration Officer supports the sales team by handling order processing, shipment tracking, and customer account management on a daily basis. This role ensures smooth order fulfilment and acts as a primary point of contact for customers, coordinating with logistics, finance, and sales colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and log software/hardware orders via email or CRM, update customers on status.
• Create ERP accounts, enter orders into vendor systems, and keep Salesforce and Traverse up‑to‑date.
• Upload purchase orders in Salesforce and monitor shipment progress, resolving any discrepancies.
• Serve as the main customer liaison, close sales in coordination with sales staff, and handle administrative tasks for the sales team.
• Communicate order backlogs and updates to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with logistics, sales, and credit teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Address customer complaints promptly and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain sales reports and manage ad‑hoc requests as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in sales administration, sales support, or a similar coordination role.
• Strong organizational abilities with a track record of meeting deadlines.
• Experience handling quotations, invoicing, order processing, and sales documentation with high accuracy.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up skills.
• Proactive, reliable, and capable of working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
