Sales Associate – Home Décor Showroom

About the role

Decor Homes is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to work in its Tanger‑Medina showroom. The role involves engaging customers, presenting décor solutions, and guiding them through the purchase process to meet their style and budget needs.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with visitors in the showroom, understand their requirements and recommend suitable home‑decor products.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing, including preparing quotations and processing orders.
• Maintain accurate product information, update displays, and monitor stock levels.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve any order issues.
• Provide after‑sales follow‑up, address client inquiries and contribute to achieving individual and team sales targets.

Required profile

• Strong sales and customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport.
• Good communication, active listening and clear explanation of product features.
• Organised, able to handle multiple customers and meet sales goals.
• Comfortable working on‑site in a showroom environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional sales or business training is a plus.

Required skills

• Point‑of‑sale (POS) system operation.
• Basic computer literacy, including email.
• Use of spreadsheets and simple Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
