Sales Manager - Construction Machinery

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our construction machinery business across Morocco. The role involves driving sales growth, building strong client relationships, and ensuring the achievement of revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales activities throughout Morocco.
• Identify, approach, and negotiate with potential clients, managing contract discussions and closures.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and monitor performance against targets.
• Conduct regular market and customer visits to uncover new opportunities and strengthen relationships.
• Monitor and analyse sales performance and key KPIs, proposing corrective actions and improvement plans.
• Collect and analyse market intelligence, including customer insights, competitor activity, pricing trends, and feedback to support regional strategies.
• Perform ongoing market and competitor research to aid business planning.
• Manage accounts receivable and invoicing processes to ensure timely collection and healthy cash flow.
• Take ownership of regional sales profitability and ensure annual targets are met or exceeded.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 3‑5 years of sales experience in Morocco, preferably in the construction machinery sector.
• Strong familiarity with the Moroccan market; experience in other North African countries is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship‑management skills.
