Sales Specialist Trainee – AIS & GIS (Morocco)

About the role

GE Vernova is looking for a Sales Specialist Trainee to support the Air‑ and Gas‑Insulated Substations (AIS & GIS) business in Morocco. You will work closely with the GIS Sales Manager and senior sales colleagues to develop customer relationships and drive commercial strategy across the Middle East and Africa region.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in early‑stage project detection and monitor the FEED stage of potential projects.
• Support senior sales team in preparing quotations, organizing tender documentation, and tracking tender progress.
• Help build value propositions and compile product qualification and techno‑commercial offers under guidance of the product line tendering team.
• Accompany senior team members to customer meetings to learn relationship building and contract clarification.
• Conduct basic market assessments and competitor analysis to contribute to commercial action plans.
• Assist in hand‑over processes between Sales and Project Execution teams to ensure seamless project transition.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong academic record with demonstrated interest in the energy/power sector.
• High proficiency in English and French; native Arabic speaker.
• Ability to travel within Morocco and the MEA region as needed.
