Senior Accountant - AP & TAX

About the role

Iron Mountain is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Morocco finance team. You will manage day‑to‑day financial operations, ensure accurate monthly accounting, and uphold a strong internal control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end accounting transactions, including three‑way matching of supplier invoices, vendor reconciliations, cash settlements and payment processing.
• Prepare monthly bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations, focusing on high‑risk accounts.
• Partner with procurement, banking partners, external auditors and tax consultants to support cash‑flow operations and reporting.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly tax returns, manage vendor withholding certificates, and support audits and tax inspections.
• Maintain compliance with local laws, Group policies, and Procurement‑to‑Pay processes.

Required profile

• Strong technical knowledge of Moroccan GAAP, US GAAP and Moroccan tax regulations.
• Proven experience preparing statutory accounts and navigating complex ERP systems.
• Ability to solve financial problems independently and present findings clearly in English.
