Senior Data Engineer (Casablanca)

About the role

Artefact is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join its Casablanca engineering team. You will work in cross‑functional feature teams, delivering end‑to‑end data solutions for clients ranging from cloud migration projects to predictive analytics for environmental initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with consultants, data scientists, and creatives to identify client needs and design innovative data solutions.
• Own the full lifecycle of data platforms, from architecture and implementation to performance tuning and scalability.
• Lead knowledge‑sharing activities, coach teammates, and participate in training sessions with partners such as Google and Amazon.
• Represent Artefact at conferences and events, presenting project outcomes and best practices.

Required profile

• Curious mindset with a passion for exploring new technologies across the data value chain.
• Evangelist attitude – actively disseminates knowledge through seminars, certifications, and internal training.
• Entrepreneurial spirit – proposes and implements innovative ideas within the team.
• Experience handling the entire data pipeline, including infrastructure setup, data collection, ML model deployment, and API development.
