Senior Finance Manager – Shared Services Centre

About the role

The company, an international private‑equity backed manufacturing group, is looking for a hands‑on Senior Finance Manager to lead the accounting function of its Shared Services Centre (SSC) in Casablanca. The SSC supports multiple European entities and the role offers broad international exposure while shaping a growing finance operation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day finance and accounting activities of the SSC.
• Manage and develop a team of about five accountants, with plans for growth.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash and payment processes.
• Coordinate month‑end and year‑end close, ensuring accurate balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed‑asset records, general‑ledger accuracy and financial controls.
• Support statutory, tax, audit and group‑reporting requirements.
• Monitor AR ageing, collections, DSO and payment‑run performance.
• Collaborate with finance leaders and operational stakeholders across European entities.
• Improve procedures, reporting, controls and team capability.
• Assist the transition of additional finance activities into the Moroccan SSC and contribute to finance‑transformation projects.

Required profile

• Strong technical accounting background with full‑cycle finance or accounting experience.
• Proven experience leading and developing an accounting team.
• Background in an international, multi‑entity organisation.
• Solid knowledge of financial controls, audit and compliance.
• Fluent in English and French, with confidence communicating with senior stakeholders across countries.
• Experience in manufacturing is advantageous; shared‑services or finance‑migration experience is a plus.
