Senior Full Stack Developer

About the role

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to lead end‑to‑end data projects within its Digital Transformation Department. You will work on the IFRC Data Platform, supporting multiple operational areas such as finance, logistics, HR, and project management.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and clarify business requirements for data initiatives.
• Design schemas, perform data modelling, and execute data engineering tasks.
• Develop Power BI reports and manage user‑testing pipelines.
• Operate and enhance the Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse‑based data platform using Data Vault and dimensional modelling techniques.
• Lead a small team of 2‑3 full‑stack developers, coordinating priorities, improving data operations, and mentoring junior staff.
• Collaborate with internal AI & data experts, external suppliers, academia, and consultants to deliver data‑related activities.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in full‑stack development and data engineering.
• Proven ability to lead small technical teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience supporting cross‑functional business units.
