Senior Function Safety Designer

About the role

ALTEN Maroc is seeking a Senior Function Safety Designer to lead the definition, maintenance, and update of the Electrical and Electronic Architecture Design dossier (DCEE). You will ensure functional requirements are robust, clearly specified, and compliant with safety standards while guiding a team of consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits on use cases and scenarios and design consolidated DCEE functional specifications.
• Manage integration of modification requests and prepare QCTP presentations for Stellantis management.
• Coordinate with suppliers, Stellantis design groups, project teams, TCS, and component teams.
• Analyze issues, perform diagnostic synthesis, and lead technical reviews.
• Mentor and lead a team of consultants, providing training and guidance.
• Represent the EE team in high‑level meetings and contribute to strategic decision‑making.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the EE architecture team.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all EE designs.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Electronics, Embedded Systems Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience in functional safety and system design, senior level.
• 5‑8 years of relevant experience with strong leadership capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage product diversity and ensure requirements consistency.
