Senior Functional Safety Designer

About the role

ALTEN Morocco is looking for a Senior Functional Safety Designer to lead the definition, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Electrical and Electronic Architecture Design dossier (DCEE). You will ensure that functional requirements are robust, clearly specified and fully compliant with safety standards while guiding multidisciplinary consultant teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define, maintain and update the DCEE, guaranteeing compliance with functional safety standards.
• Conduct audits on use cases and scenarios and consolidate system functional specifications.
• Manage integration of modification requests and prepare QCTP presentations for Stellantis management.
• Coordinate with suppliers, Stellantis design groups, project teams, TCS and component teams.
• Analyze issues, perform DIAG synthesis and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives within the EE architecture team.
• Represent the EE team in high‑level meetings and contribute to strategic decision‑making.
• Lead, mentor and train consultants, fostering a collaborative working environment.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Electronics, Embedded Systems Engineering or a related field.
• 5‑10 years of experience in functional safety and system design.
• Strong background in functional requirements design using ENOVIA.
• Good knowledge of functional architecture design with CATIA.
• Proven ability to manage product diversity and ensure requirements consistency.
• Solid experience in technical analysis, root‑cause investigation and PLM.
