Senior Investment Analyst

About the role

The Senior Investment Analyst will support the Project Development Fund’s Transport and ICT vertical by delivering high‑quality financial modelling, investment analysis, research and transaction support to drive sound infrastructure investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Build, own and maintain complex project finance models, including sensitivity analyses, cash‑flow projections and scenario modelling.
• Analyse project assumptions, capital structures, financing requirements, returns and risks, and develop recommendations on economics and structuring.
• Screen new opportunities against the client’s mandate and risk‑return criteria.
• Conduct sector, country, market, company, sponsor and policy research to identify investment opportunities.
• Review project and transaction documentation, assess commercial, financial, contractual and risk considerations, and propose recommendations.
• Coordinate due‑diligence processes across financial, technical, commercial, legal and ESG workstreams, managing adviser deliverables and identifying key risks.
• Support negotiations and stakeholder discussions with public authorities, sponsors, co‑developers, lenders, DFIs and other investors.
• Participate in the full project processing cycle from development through investment approval, financial close and disbursement.

Required profile

• Ability to independently own complex analysis and defined transaction workstreams.
• Strong coordination skills to manage multi‑disciplinary due‑diligence teams.
• Experience evaluating project development and investment opportunities and recommending structuring options.
