Senior Java Developer

About the role

AXA Global Business Services Morocco is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join its technology team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining Java/J2EE applications that support AXA’s insurance and corporate operations across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑quality Java/J2EE applications.
• Design, implement and consume SOAP and REST APIs and web services.
• Integrate systems with external platforms and ensure seamless data exchange.
• Handle data processing and transformation using XML and JSON formats.
• Apply best practices for exception handling, logging and code quality.
• Collaborate with local (Morocco) and international (France) development teams.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in Core Java/J2EE development.
• Strong knowledge of Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot.
• Experience building and consuming SOAP and REST web services.
• Proficiency in XML and JSON data formats.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, distributed team environment.
