Senior R&D Software Engineer – AI & Automation

About the role

Infomineo is looking for a Senior Research & Development Engineer to lead the creation of next‑generation AI‑driven solutions for its global clientele. You will work at the intersection of backend engineering and artificial‑intelligence frameworks, helping to automate business‑research workflows and deliver high‑impact insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, high‑throughput backend services for AI and data‑automation products.
• Build and maintain distributed system components such as messaging queues, caching layers, and connection/resource pools.
• Develop event‑driven, asynchronous processing pipelines that support document processing, vectorization, and semantic search.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across five international offices to integrate AI models into production.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and propose architectural improvements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional experience in backend development and distributed systems.
• Proven track record of delivering clean, maintainable code using design patterns and solid software‑engineering principles.
• Deep understanding of AI framework fundamentals and experience with document processing pipelines.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
