Senior Receptionist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Receptionist to lead our front‑desk operations on a luxury cruise vessel. The role combines guest‑service excellence with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all passengers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest services at the reception desk.
• Supervise the day‑to‑day operation of the reception team.
• Coordinate and fulfill guest needs, requests, enquiries and complaints promptly.
• Maintain continuous communication with the Guest Relations Manager and other ship departments.
• Ensure smooth information flow between shore concierge, finance and reception teams.
• Handle embarkation and debarkation duties as required.
• Conduct regular inventories of guest‑relations equipment.
• Prepare and submit the reception team’s work schedule for approval.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a front‑desk or receptionist role at an international 5‑star or luxury establishment.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Conversational proficiency in at least two additional languages (e.g., German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin).
• Basic accounting knowledge.

Required skills

• Proficient use of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with the Fidelio hotel management system.
