Senior Research Associate – Education Impact Evaluation

About the role

The Morocco Innovation and Evaluation Lab (MEL) is seeking a Senior Research Associate to coordinate and support an impact evaluation in the education sector, working closely with international researchers and the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports.

Key responsibilities

• Propose and implement innovations across project stages in coordination with Principal Investigators.
• Maintain and grow effective relationships with partner organizations.
• Oversee and lead field research activities, ensuring implementation follows the research design.
• Supervise data collection, management, and analysis for the evaluation.
• Support the research infrastructure of MEL and assist in designing impact evaluations.
• Collaborate with senior staff from J‑PAL, CID, academic researchers, and field staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordinating research projects and impact evaluations.
• Strong background in field data collection and management.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including government ministries and international research teams.
• Senior‑level professional capable of supervising field activities and ensuring project success.
