Senior Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The client, an international automotive manufacturer, is establishing a new production facility in Tangier and needs a Senior Supply Chain Manager to design and run end‑to‑end supply chain operations. This role is critical for ensuring material availability, supplier performance, and efficient logistics while supporting the plant launch.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all supply chain activities including material planning, logistics, warehousing, procurement coordination and customer deliveries.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with production requirements and inventory optimization.
• Monitor supplier performance on quality, delivery and cost; negotiate commercial terms and drive improvement actions.
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, warehouse operations, transportation scheduling and risk mitigation.
• Establish logistics processes, KPIs and reporting dashboards; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Recruit, develop and lead the supply chain team, set departmental objectives and foster cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of supply chain leadership experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) and international manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
• Previous involvement in greenfield or plant launch projects is a strong advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills.
