Senior Tax Specialist

About the role

Huawei is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Specialist to lead tax compliance and reporting activities across the organization. The role involves ensuring accurate tax filings, mitigating risks, and providing expert guidance to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file the company’s tax returns in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all tax‑related activities and generate reports for internal and external audiences.
• Identify potential tax risks and ensure compliance with applicable regulations to avoid penalties.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external auditors, and tax authorities, offering expert advice on tax matters.
• Research tax legislation, monitor regulatory changes, and assess their impact on the company’s tax position.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in tax accounting, compliance, and management, preferably within a corporate environment or a large tax/accounting firm.
• Proven track record in tax compliance, filing, reporting, and familiarity with tax software and systems.
• Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, with basic knowledge of international taxation.
