Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / Production Engineer

About the role

As a Site Reliability Engineer / Production Engineer you will own the reliability, availability and security of critical platforms running in a hybrid‑cloud environment. You will act as the production owner, collaborating with engineering, infrastructure, security and program teams to ensure smooth operations and successful large‑scale transformations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure high service availability and business continuity using SLIs, SLOs and error budgets.
• Design, operate and continuously improve resilient hybrid‑cloud architectures.
• Own end‑to‑end incident management, lead major incidents, define on‑call rotations and conduct post‑mortems.
• Build actionable monitoring and alerting, implement capacity planning and proactive failure detection.
• Automate operational tasks through Infrastructure as Code, runbooks and self‑healing mechanisms.
• Manage CI‑CD pipelines for critical applications, optimise deployment strategies (rolling, blue/green, canary) and ensure traceability.
• Support infrastructure stability across cloud and on‑prem environments and drive standardisation.
• Participate in technology transformation projects, securing architectural and operational choices.
• Execute security recommendations, manage patching and remediate vulnerabilities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site reliability or production engineering within hybrid‑cloud environments.
• Strong incident‑management skills with a focus on reducing MTTR.
• Hands‑on expertise in automation, monitoring and CI‑CD processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
