Software Engineer Annotator (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer Annotator to evaluate, label, and improve software engineering datasets used for AI and large language model training. Working remotely, you will apply your programming expertise to review AI‑generated code, validate its correctness, and provide high‑quality annotations that help improve model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Annotate and review software engineering datasets for AI training.
• Assess AI‑generated code for correctness, efficiency, readability, and security.
• Label datasets covering code completion, debugging, refactoring, and optimization tasks.
• Provide structured feedback to enhance model performance.
• Ensure adherence to annotation guidelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with AI trainers, reviewers, and data teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Prior experience in data annotation, AI training, or code review.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and coding best practices.
• Basic knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, or large language models is a plus.
