Software Integration, API & Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Software Integration, API & Data Engineer to design, develop, deploy and support software components, APIs and data flows within complex service platforms. You will ensure reliable integration between applications, databases, systems and networks while collaborating with technical and business teams in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into integration and data solutions.
• Integrate, configure and validate software components, including DataMiner modules, drivers, APIs and database connections.
• Develop, test and maintain APIs and interfaces connecting internal and external applications.
• Design and maintain data flows, transformations and system integrations.
• Develop and optimise database schemas, queries and stored procedures.
• Automate installation, configuration, testing and deployment using scripts and CI/CD tools.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Autonomous, curious and proactive with strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams and communicate clearly in written French and English.

Required skills

• Python and Bash/Shell scripting (PHP and JavaScript are a plus).
• API design, development, testing and integration patterns.
• MySQL database design, SQL, query optimisation and data integrity.
• Linux administration (Debian or Red Hat/CentOS) and basic Windows Server knowledge.
• Git version control and CI/CD practices (Jenkins, Ansible or similar).
• Virtualisation and deployment on VMware (OVA packages) and container hosting.
• Networking fundamentals – TCP/IP, routing, access controls and permissions.
