About the role

STMicroelectronics is looking for a motivated engineering student to join its DevOps team as an intern. You will support the automation, deployment, and monitoring of applications across cloud and on‑premise environments, gaining hands‑on experience with industry‑leading tools.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in automating deployments using scripts and IaC tools.
• Help design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Perform Linux system administration and manage cloud resources on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Set up and monitor application health using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, and related tools.
• Support the team in continuous integration and delivery tasks.

Required profile

• Student in engineering, computer science, networking or a related field.
• Strong interest in DevOps, cloud technologies, and automation.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.

Required skills

• Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Linux administration.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Basic knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
