Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role

Join TE Connectivity as a Supplier Quality Engineer, supporting automotive customers and suppliers to ensure product quality, safety, and compliance. You will lead investigations of quality complaints, drive corrective actions, and work closely with cross‑functional teams to minimize the impact of defective materials.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer and supplier quality complaints and conduct thorough analyses.
• Organise and execute containment actions at customer sites, supplier facilities, or TE plants.
• Prepare 8D reports, perform root‑cause analysis, and manage charge‑back processes.
• Validate 8D reports submitted by suppliers and disseminate lessons learned to prevent recurrence.
• Facilitate communication across departments, locations, and with external representatives.
• Apply problem‑solving tools such as 5 WHY and Ishikawa (fishbone) analysis.

Required profile

• Master’s or engineering degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a Supplier Quality role within the automotive industry.
• Experience with cable‑assembly processes is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English and French.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments, suppliers, and customers.
