About the role
The Supply Chain Scheduler is responsible for managing inventory levels of raw materials and component families, ensuring material availability to meet the Master Production Schedule and customer demand.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor MPS achievement, propose preventive actions, and set appropriate inventory levels.
- Measure Supplier Service Rate (SSR) and develop improvement plans.
- Forecast weekly material requirements and communicate with suppliers.
- Track daily material arrivals, ensure on‑time shipments, and resolve blocking points.
- Participate in logistics/purchasing meetings and support supply‑chain tools such as Kanban, EDI, and milk‑run.
- Define inbound transportation plans with external flow analysts and assist inventory counting.
- Alert sales during crises, prioritize actions, and escalate when needed.
- Maintain supplier contacts, establish backup procedures, and coordinate logistics protocols.
Required profile
- Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory management and supply‑chain planning.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with logistics, purchasing, and production teams.
- Proactive communication skills to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Capability to identify issues quickly and implement corrective actions.
