About the role

We are looking for an experienced Rate Trader to join BMCE Capital Markets in Casablanca. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the desk’s strategy, managing the fixed‑income portfolio and delivering high‑quality analysis to support decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and monitor the action plan and performance objectives defined for the desk.
• Define the desk’s strategic plan and manage the rate‑instrument portfolio.
• Conduct competitive intelligence and market monitoring.
• Produce reliable reporting, publications and decision‑support tools for management and clients.
• Design new products aligned with BMCE’s development strategy and market demand.
• Ensure compliance with internal regulations, ethical codes and external regulatory limits.

Required profile

• Graduate of a leading engineering or business school (Morocco or abroad) with a specialization in finance, applied mathematics or financial engineering.
• 3‑5 years of professional experience in rate or fixed‑income trading.
• Strong knowledge of interest‑rate instruments, yield curves, market finance and macro‑economic drivers.
• Proven analytical ability to process complex data under pressure.
