Trim Developer R&D

About the role

The Trim Developer R&D will design and develop trim covers that meet customer design intent, program cost, timing and plant feasibility. You will collaborate closely with Trim Engineers and the JIT team to ensure the product is compliant, innovative and ready for production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop trim cover concepts aligned with design intent, cost and schedule while ensuring plant feasibility.
• Provide updated technical packages including Accumark files, DXF reports and drawings.
• Support the team with Accumark‑PDS, CATIA/NX duties and digitalizing/plotting of patterns.
• Verify trim content against master pattern drawings and BOMs, and flag any feasibility concerns.
• Maintain corporate standards for package creation, conduct 5S audits and ensure safe working practices.

Required profile

• Bac+2 technical degree with strong knowledge of sewing and trimming processes.
• Experience with sewing machines, joining, twining, decking and piping.
• Proficiency in material composition, utilization and CAD/PDS tools.
• Good analytical mindset, time‑management skills and ability to work in a challenging TDC environment.
• Intermediate to good English and French communication skills.

Required skills

• Accumark, DXF, PDS and other CAD software (CATIA, NX).
• Technical package creation and pattern digitalization.
• Knowledge of trim assembly processes and material specifications.
