Vendor Management Senior Manager

About the role

The Vendor Management Senior Manager will lead BCG X’s global contingent workforce operations, acting as the primary liaison between internal leaders, external partners, and regional specialists. Reporting to the Global Head of Vendor Management, you will drive end‑to‑end vendor lifecycle processes and integrate AI tools to enhance efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full vendor lifecycle—from market research and partner selection to contract negotiation, onboarding, quality assurance, and financial settlement.
• Guide and mentor a distributed team of Vendor Management Specialists, fostering accountability and professional growth.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders, ensuring compliant, scalable, and cost‑effective contingent workforce operations.
• Integrate AI and Agentic AI solutions into vendor management workflows to position BCG X at the forefront of intelligent workforce management.

Required profile

• 8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, vendor management, or contingent workforce operations, preferably in professional services or technology.
• Proven track record of leading high‑performing, distributed teams.
• Strong senior stakeholder management skills with executive presence.
• Fluent English; additional languages such as Portuguese, Japanese, or Mandarin are a plus.

Required skills

• SAP Fieldglass or similar Vendor Management Systems.
• Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with AI tools or a strong interest in applying AI to operational workflows.
