WordPress Developer

About the role

Nindohost is looking for an experienced WordPress developer to join its team in Tangier. The role covers the maintenance and optimization of the company's websites, including performance tuning, security checks and feature development. The contract is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and regularly update the WordPress websites
• Diagnose and fix technical issues related to performance, security and functionality
• Work with the team to improve design, user experience and features
• Analyze and optimize performance and compatibility across browsers and devices
• Set up tests and quality control procedures
• Develop new features by building modules to meet specific needs

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science, web development or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience as a WordPress developer
• Fluent spoken and written French and English
• Good communication, time management and teamwork skills, analytical mindset and attention to detail

Required skills

• Proficiency in WordPress, Elementor and major plugins
• Front-end: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Back-end: PHP, MySQL, AJAX
• Creating and customizing WordPress themes and plugins
• SEO, performance and security best practices
• Version control with Git, REST APIs and third-party integrations
