Business & Data Analysis Manager

About the role

The Business & Data Analysis Manager (also referred to as Business Planner) leads the development, coordination and monitoring of business plans that drive sustainable growth and operational performance. Working closely with commercial, finance, supply chain, marketing and other functions, the role translates strategic priorities into actionable plans, tracks performance and provides insights for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end business planning process and ensure alignment across Commerce, Marketing, Supply, Finance and Business Development.
• Build and maintain customer forecasts, aligning them with demand‑planning assumptions and business priorities.
• Facilitate monthly forecast meetings, monitor forecast quality for baseline, promotions and new product launches.
• Coordinate the annual promotional planning cycle and keep promotional forecasts accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Analyse performance data, identify risks and opportunities, and support corrective‑action planning.
• Prepare business reports, dashboards and planning reviews for senior stakeholders.
• Support deployment and continuous improvement of planning tools such as Optimus.
• Train Key Account Managers and cross‑functional teams on planning tools and processes.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and discipline throughout planning cycles and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business planning, forecasting or commercial analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across multiple functions.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of maintaining data integrity in fast‑paced environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Optimus planning tool.
