Car Leader – Plant Engineering Team Lead

About the role

Lear, a global automotive technology leader, is seeking a Car Leader to head its plant engineering team at the Kenitra ES Plant in Morocco. The role focuses on delivering projects on time, launching new initiatives, and driving efficiency across the plant while supporting customer milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and drive timing projects to meet customer milestones.
• Ensure successful launch of new projects and support plant efficiency targets.
• Lead preparation and follow‑up for customer milestones.
• Establish and track CAPEX initiatives.
• Implement customer change requests and specifications according to program schedules.
• Introduce new technologies and working methods to reduce labor and improve productivity.

Required profile

• Engineering degree.
• Minimum 4 years of automotive project management experience.
• First‑wiring experience is mandatory.
• Strong project‑management competencies and ability to prioritize work.
• Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written.
