Laboratory Quality Engineer

About the role

Lear Morocco is seeking a Laboratory Quality Engineer to support its Kenitra ES Plant. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test and measurement equipment used in automotive component production.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain calibration of test and measurement equipment.
• Develop work instructions for the proper use of measuring and testing tools.
• Perform Gage R&R studies to assess measurement system capability.
• Create and maintain daily poka‑yoke lists for quality controllers.
• Define beam characteristics based on customer requirements, DFMEA, and historical warranty data, and incorporate them into CTQ specifications.
• Analyze new components (section, insertion, tearing force, terminal crimping, etc.) and validate analyses for module requirements.
• Ensure implementation of lessons learned and define visual aids for self‑inspections and progressive checks.
• Validate tooling and material across all production lines, from pre‑assembly to post‑operations.
• Compile start‑up information for new production lines or engineering changes.

Required profile

• Engineer with a university degree.
• Ability to work in a high‑tempo environment and collaborate across the organization.
• Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to plan and prioritize tasks.
• Deadline‑oriented and capable of making decisions under pressure.
