Product Quality Engineer

About the role

The Product Quality Engineer will ensure that all automotive components meet customer specifications and quality standards throughout the development and production phases. You will work closely with quality inspectors, production teams, and customers to guarantee successful PPAP submissions and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support the skill growth of project quality inspectors.
• Train inspectors on customer specifications and ensure compliance via the PPAP process.
• Provide technical and organizational support to the quality inspectors team.
• Coordinate with production to receive, create, and inspect initial samples.
• Compile PPAP/EMPB files, liaise with customers, and secure 100% quality approval.
• Ensure PPAP file compliance and timely customer approvals.
• Archive internal and external quality documentation.
• Assist the production plant with product and process quality improvements through audits and other activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) in industrial engineering or a related field.
• Internship experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong communication, analysis, autonomy, and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Core tools knowledge: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SCP.
