Industry 4.0 Data Engineer

About the role

As a Data Engineer at Lear’s Rabat Technopolis R&D Center, you will collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate operational use cases into reliable data solutions that empower business decision‑making in the automotive sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ingestion processes that integrate data from multiple enterprise systems.
• Ensure pipeline reliability, efficiency, and performance while managing platform components.
• Create and sustain well‑structured datasets, contributing to metadata management and semantic modelling.
• Maintain data quality, lineage, and observability to guarantee trusted, traceable datasets.
• Handle schema evolution, refactoring, and deprecation of data structures over time.
• Apply data security, access control, and compliance standards, including classification and permission management.
• Collaborate with SMEs, analysts, and business users to gather requirements and support data governance.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in building scalable data solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
