Network Operations Manager – FTTH, Copper & HFC

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Network Operations Manager to lead the operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of our fixed network infrastructure, covering FTTH, copper and HFC systems, in a fast‑growing international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise operation and maintenance of FTTH, copper and HFC networks.
• Serve as primary contact for national and international telecom operators and key stakeholders.
• Analyse client technical and operational requirements to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Develop, manage and monitor the department budget, financial forecasts and P&L.
• Ensure compliance with KPIs related to service quality, network availability and operational efficiency.
• Manage subcontractors and external partners, overseeing performance and delivery standards.
• Lead, develop and scale operational teams, including hiring and performance management.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives across processes and methodologies.
• Manage end‑to‑end projects for fiber deployment and network infrastructure optimisation.

Required profile

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field (alternative degrees considered with strong relevant experience).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in similar telecommunications roles.
• Proven experience managing turnkey projects covering design, civil works, deployment and installation.
• Strong understanding of national and European telecom operators and infrastructure players.
• Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• MBA or EMBA is a plus.

Required skills

• Design, deployment and maintenance of fixed networks (FTTH, HFC).
• Project management certifications such as SCRUM, PMP or PRINCE2.
• Network design and management tools (GIS, AutoCAD or similar).
