Payroll Specialist – Payroll Processing & Administration

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Payroll Specialist to manage end‑to‑end payroll processing. The successful candidate will ensure that all employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll on schedule, verifying time records, overtime, bonuses, deductions and taxes.
• Calculate wages, benefits, and payroll adjustments and enter data into payroll and HR systems.
• Maintain up‑to‑date employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, promotions and salary changes.
• Reconcile payroll reports, resolve discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance and other internal teams to address payroll‑related issues.
• Prepare payroll reports, summaries and supporting documentation for tax filings and audits.
• Monitor payroll deadlines and stay informed about changes in payroll policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in payroll processing, payroll administration, accounting, finance or HR.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and record‑keeping skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and work both independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience using payroll software, HRIS platforms or accounting systems.
• Strong understanding of payroll calculations, deductions, taxes and benefits.
