Quality Engineer

About the role

Hexcel is the industry leader in advanced lightweight composite materials and is expanding its global footprint. We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Casablanca, Morocco site, supporting our manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake investigations, quality projects and statistical analysis to support customer and business initiatives.
• Lead continuous‑improvement and site‑specific quality projects, including 5S and LEAN activities.
• Support quality system and process reviews to ensure a robust Plant QMS.
• Maintain familiarity with Hexcel software systems (AX2012, Pilgrim, Velocity) for QC/QA support.
• Analyze technical requirements of contracts, drawings and specifications to develop product‑quality plans.
• Create and maintain quality documentation required by customers or internal systems and conduct internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality department.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting abilities with mechanical equipment.
• Strong technical analysis and statistical data‑analysis skills.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Familiarity with measurement and inspection equipment.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP requirements.
• Eligibility to work in Morocco.
