Bar Manager – Hospitality & F&B

About the role

The Bar Manager will lead the bar/lounge operation at a hotel in Rabat, creating a memorable guest experience while driving revenue and controlling costs. This full‑time position oversees daily service, staff performance, inventory, and marketing initiatives to attract both hotel and non‑hotel patrons.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a unique guest experience that aligns with the hotel’s brand.
• Manage daily bar/lounge operations, including shift scheduling, staff supervision, and on‑floor support during peak periods.
• Control liquor inventories, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations.
• Develop and adjust menus, pricing, and promotional offers based on market analysis and competitor activity.
• Lead marketing, public relations, and social‑media campaigns to increase foot traffic and brand awareness.
• Negotiate with suppliers, manage purchase orders, and maintain preferred supplier lists.
• Coordinate entertainment, events, and community networking activities.
• Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and implement revenue‑management strategies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hospitality, Food Service Management, or Business Administration with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to lead a team, train staff, and maintain high service standards.
• Strong understanding of local market dynamics and competitor landscape.
