Head of Therapeutic Areas – Oncology, Hematology & Immunology

About the role

The Regional Head of Therapeutic Areas will lead the performance and profitability of Oncology, Hematology, Immunology, CRM and NS portfolios across the Morocco‑Tunisia‑Algeria (MTA) region. Reporting to the Country President, the role shapes long‑term portfolio strategy, resource allocation and go‑to‑market models while ensuring alignment with commercial, medical and access functions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the P&L for a multi‑therapy portfolio, driving sales, market share and profit targets.
• Develop and execute brand and launch strategies, including pre‑launch planning, field‑force deployment and cross‑functional coordination.
• Lead scenario planning, portfolio trade‑offs and external positioning of Novartis in the region.
• Build and mentor high‑performing sales and marketing teams, fostering sustainable relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with ethics, risk and regulatory standards while managing budgets and KPIs.

Required profile

• Senior leader with proven experience managing therapeutic‑area portfolios in pharma or biotech.
• Demonstrated ability to lead P&L, drive commercial growth and launch new products.
• Strong strategic planning, stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Deep knowledge of Oncology, Hematology, Immunology, CRM and NS therapeutic areas.
