Quality PTM – Lighting Activity

About the role

Valeo is looking for a motivated Quality PTM to lead the lighting activity within its automotive projects. You will shape the quality roadmap, manage risks from concept to production, and ensure that all deliverables meet strict automotive standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the project quality strategy, monitor quality costs and customer milestones.
• Detect, prevent and escalate risks throughout the product lifecycle.
• Enforce Build‑In Quality standards using SPPC tracking sheets and transfer them to suppliers.
• Integrate new product/process features into DFMEA/PFMEA and apply lessons learned to reduce RPN.
• Manage change requests after design freeze, ensuring customer approval and updating all quality documents.
• Challenge fellow PTMs, participate in design reviews with suppliers and toolmakers.
• Support purchasing and SQA teams with supplier parts and best‑practice integration.
• Define prototype, pre‑serial and serial control plans aligned with SPPC and FMEA.
• Prepare Initial Sample files for validation and customer sign‑off.
• Lead QRQC application, enforce “stop at first disagree/no” rules and initiate VIM for test failures.

Required profile

• Bac+5 or equivalent in industrial management.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong motivation to learn, take initiative and ownership.
• Curiosity to question existing practices and propose smarter solutions.
• Excellent teamwork and open communication skills.

Required skills

• DFMEA and PFMEA development.
• SPPC tracking and documentation.
• QRQC methodology.
• VIM (Verification and Validation Management).
• Control plan creation for prototype, pre‑serial and serial production.
• Risk management and change management processes.
• Quality cost analysis and roadmap definition.
