Accountant – Tangier, Morocco

About the role

InnovMed Tech Group is seeking a diligent Accountant to join its finance team in Tangier, Morocco. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting operations, preparing financial statements, and ensuring full compliance with local tax regulations while supporting the Group’s reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and periodic reports.
• Handle tax filings and maintain compliance with Moroccan tax laws.
• Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and other government entities.
• Support budgeting, financial analysis, and internal control processes.
• Assist in reporting to the Group headquarters and other finance‑related activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Moroccan accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Experience in multinational environments and reporting to overseas headquarters is preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate with local authorities and international teams.
• Detail‑oriented, responsible and capable of working both independently and within a team.
• Based in Tangier, Morocco.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
