Chef de Partie Baker

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie – Baker to join our shipboard culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing a wide range of high‑quality baked goods and artisanal breads while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare diverse baked products, themed buffet decorations, and artisanal breads following company recipes.
• Manage ingredient requisitions, monitor stock levels—including frozen inventory—and minimise food waste.
• Adapt recipes to meet guest allergies, intolerances and specific dietary requirements.
• Uphold public health standards, keep the workstation immaculate, log refrigerator temperatures and prepare for unannounced inspections.
• Assist with guest cooking demonstrations, support onboarding of new crew members and collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of baking experience in an international 5‑star hotel, resort or luxury cruise line.
• Valid STCW95 certification.
• Strong knowledge of public health policies, sanitation procedures and safety regulations.
• Physically and medically fit for sea service and demonstrate high moral integrity.
• Good command of English for effective communication.
