General Manager – Luxury Resort

About the role

As General Manager of Fairmont Taghazout Bay, you will lead a luxury resort on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, delivering world‑class guest experiences while driving the hotel’s strategic and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Set and communicate a clear vision aligned with ownership’s investment objectives, overseeing long‑term strategic planning and renovation projects.
• Lead all operational areas—including rooms, food & beverage, sales, marketing and revenue management—to achieve financial targets and maintain high service standards.
• Build and nurture relationships with owners, community partners and key stakeholders, representing the brand and ensuring alignment with corporate values.
• Drive a culture of innovation, continuous learning and “speak‑up” collaboration across the management team.
• Monitor guest feedback, manage VIP and international protocols, and implement improvements to exceed luxury hospitality expectations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as General Manager in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
• Fluent in English and French with strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Demonstrated financial acumen, revenue‑management expertise and ability to maximize asset performance.
• Track record of building high‑performing, inclusive teams and managing owner relations.
• Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
