AH-64 D/E Helicopter Instructor/Operator (Rabat, Morocco)

About the role

The successful candidate will serve as an Instructor/Operator for AH‑64D/E helicopters, delivering flight and tactical training to Moroccan military pilots at the Royal Moroccan Air Base in Rabat. Reporting to the V2X‑GTS Program Manager, the role requires U.S. citizenship, a valid U.S. passport, and the ability to work on‑site in an OCONUS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advanced AH‑64D/E flight instruction following the U.S. Army Aircrew Training Manual.
• Train pilots on aircraft systems, instrument flight, flight‑management system operation, and emergency procedures.
• Provide day, night, and Night Vision Goggle (NVG) instruction, including tactical mission scenarios and gunnery.
• Conduct pre‑flight briefings, in‑flight instruction, and post‑flight debriefs, documenting performance in Individual Aircrew Training Folders.
• Mentor students across classroom, simulator, and in‑flight environments, performing progression testing and after‑action reviews.
• Manage simulator operations: develop scenarios, insert faults, configure weather, and monitor real‑time events.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with a current U.S. passport.
• Extensive experience operating and instructing on AH‑64D/E helicopters.
• Familiarity with the U.S. Army Aircrew Training Manual and FAA Order 7110.65.
• Ability to conduct training in day, night, and NVG conditions.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, instrument flight, and flight‑management systems.
