Art Director

About the role

OBBOMaroc, which helps people in Morocco buy food better and reduces food waste, is hiring an Art Director for a full-time, on-site position in Casablanca. The role leads the visual direction of the brand across digital and print channels, ensuring consistent and compelling storytelling.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and supervise graphic design work
• Collaborate with marketing, product and operations teams to turn business objectives into clear visual communication
• Oversee graphics and layouts, and manage design standards and brand guidelines
• Give feedback and mentorship to designers and external creative partners
• Take part in campaign planning, present creative proposals and make sure visual assets fit the brand's mission and audience

Required profile

• Strong art direction and creative direction skills, with branding experience including brand identity and visual systems
• Graphic design and graphics production for digital, social media, print and promotional materials
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and explain ideas to creative and non-creative stakeholders
• Experience in an agency, startup or in-house design environment; food, retail or sustainability experience is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Arts, Communication or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent
• Understanding of current design trends
• A strong portfolio showing conceptual thinking, brand work and applied design across channels
