Assistant Chief Engineer

About the role

The Assistant Chief Engineer is responsible for all maintenance issues within a Hilton hotel, ensuring an excellent guest and member experience through daily checks, equipment repairs, and renovation coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance checks throughout the hotel.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and fixtures.
• Conduct lift emergency release procedures as required.
• Develop, implement, and direct emergency response programs.
• Design and manage energy‑conservation initiatives to reduce expenses.
• Coordinate renovation bidding, define scope and cost, and oversee contractors and subcontractors.
• Execute special projects and additional duties as assigned.
• Ensure health and safety compliance, including monthly safety inspections and staff training.
