Assistant Property Manager - Short-Term Rentals

About the role

A short-term rental operator in Tangier, Morocco is hiring a full-time, hybrid Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day running of its properties. The role works closely with the Property Manager to ensure smooth operations, excellent guest experiences and high property standards, in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with reservations on Airbnb, Booking.com and other platforms, keeping availability calendars and listing details up to date
• Coordinate guest arrivals, departures, check-ins and check-outs
• Communicate professionally with guests in English and French, resolve complaints and provide clear check-in instructions
• Coordinate cleaning teams, laundry services and maintenance technicians, and follow up on repairs and tasks
• Monitor guest reviews, keep records of reservations and maintenance requests, and help prepare reports
• Use digital tools such as spreadsheets and messaging apps, and give the Property Manager regular updates

Required profile

• Previous experience in short-term rentals, property management, hospitality or hotel operations
• Fluency in written and spoken English and French
• Familiarity with Airbnb, Booking.com or similar platforms
• Valid driver's licence
• Flexibility to cover weekends when needed

Required skills

• Strong organization, attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and solve problems independently
• Good digital skills and ability to learn new software
