Automotive Requirements Management Engineer (DOORS DXL)

About the role

We are looking for an Automotive Requirements Management Engineer specialized in IBM DOORS DXL to join ALTEN Delivery Center Morocco. The role focuses on developing and automating requirement data flows for component‑level and cross‑sectional (Querschnitts) domains within automotive projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain DXL scripts for importing and exporting data in IBM DOORS.
• Create and manage DOORS attributes, validate baselines and ensure correct linking of sub‑modules.
• Implement multi‑export solutions from DOORS to Excel and perform specialized data extraction for reporting.
• Develop and adapt VBA macros in Excel to streamline searching, data manipulation and status reporting using PowerQuery.
• Support requirement management activities for Component‑LAH and Querschnitts‑LAH domains, handling versioning and variant configurations throughout the development lifecycle.
• Customize and optimise DOORS modules through DXL scripting to support both component‑level and cross‑sectional requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive sector.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with IBM DOORS DXL scripting, including import/export automation.
• Strong knowledge of requirements management, especially for component and cross‑sectional areas.
• Proven experience in variant and version management.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerQuery and VBA.
• Excellent English communication (C1 level or higher) and the ability to work independently.
