Bookseller – Casa (Gauthier)

About the role

Livremoi, Morocco's first online bookstore with a catalogue of more than one million French-language titles, is hiring a Bookseller for its Casa (Gauthier) branch. The role welcomes, advises and supports customers in choosing their books, both in the store and through the online offering. It is a fully on-site position in the Casablanca metropolitan area.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the shelves: display new releases, tidy and restock.
• Process orders and take part in receiving and inventory operations.
• Contribute to sales growth by making relevant recommendations and promoting the store's services (online ordering, availability, delivery times).
• Ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Current or former documentalist (information/library professional) or literature teacher.
• Early sales experience and the ability to give constructive advice and track sales targets.
• Strong interest in books and reading, organisation and rigor.
• Good command of spoken and written French; basic English is a plus.

Required skills

• Bookselling: knowledge of publishing genres and guiding customers' choices.
• Customer relations and communication: listening, rephrasing and clear, respectful interaction.
• Good proficiency with computer tools and point-of-sale systems.
