Business Control Specialist - Morocco

About the role

The Business Control Specialist ensures the management of the company's financial and operational performance by providing reliable, relevant and timely analyses to management. The role prepares and monitors budgets, implements KPIs, analyzes variances between forecasts and actuals, and supports strategic decisions while acting as a business partner to operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate and consolidate annual and forecast budgets with various departments
• Implement and track KPIs to measure profitability and operational efficiency
• Analyze variances between actual results and forecasts and recommend corrective actions
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual reports for management and stakeholders
• Identify cost improvement levers to optimize expenses and operating margins
• Support strategic decisions with financial analyses and assist in the financial management of investment or transformation projects
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and accounting and tax regulations
• Collaborate with operational, accounting and management teams

Required profile

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in management control, corporate finance, accounting, control and audit, or a business school diploma with specialization in finance or management control
• At least 5 years of experience in financial reporting, business control or auditing
• Experience in transportation and logistics companies and in diversified, multi-product organizations
• Excellent written and spoken English and French

• SAP, SAGE, JDE, Cosy and OneStream
• Advanced Excel; Power BI is a plus
• Analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Strong communication, negotiation and teamwork skills
